Emperor butterfly
The emperor butterfly is a bug you catch flying near flowers. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Jun – Sep, Dec – Mar, from 5 PM – 8 AM. It hides when it rains. It can only appear after you have caught 20 bugs. Nook's Cranny pays 4,000 Bells, Flick pays 6,000 Bells.
Flies near flowers from evening until early morning on dry days, once you reach 20 bug catches. Plant flower beds close to home for easy night checks, and Flick will pay 6,000 Bells.
