Giant stag

The giant stag is a bug you catch on trees (any kind). In the northern hemisphere look for it in Jul – Aug, from 11 PM – 8 AM. It can only appear after you have caught 50 bugs. Nook's Cranny pays 10,000 Bells, Flick pays 15,000 Bells.

A night owl among beetles, found on any tree from late night until morning once you have 50 bug catches. Approach slowly with the net raised: Flick pays 15,000 Bells, so it is worth the late shift.
