Mammoth skull

Mammoth skull is one of the 2 pieces of the Mammoth fossil. Dig up fossils at the cracks on the ground, have Blathers assess them, then donate it to the museum or sell spares for 3,000 Bells.

Woolly mammoths were close relatives of today's elephants, kept warm through the Ice Age by shaggy fur and a layer of fat. A small group survived on Wrangel Island until roughly 4,000 years ago.
