Motherly statue
Motherly statue is a statue based on "Capitoline Wolf" by Artist Unknown. Jolly Redd sells it from his boat for 4,980 Bells, but it may be a forgery, so check before you buy. Donate the genuine piece to the museum to fill the art gallery.
A bronze she-wolf tied to the legend of Rome's founding. The twins Romulus and Remus feeding beneath her were added many centuries later.
How to spot the forgery
Look at the wolf's mouth. A tongue lolling out means a fake; the genuine wolf keeps hers in.
