Anchovy
The anchovy is a fish you catch in the sea. Look for a small shadow. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, from 4 AM – 9 PM. Nook's Cranny pays 200 Bells, C.J. pays 300 Bells.
A small sea shadow that turns up from early morning until 9pm, all year. It sells for very little, so donate one to the museum and keep fishing for something better.
