Sea bass
The sea bass is a fish you catch in the sea. Look for a very large shadow. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, at any time of day. Nook's Cranny pays 400 Bells, C.J. pays 600 Bells.
The X-Large sea shadow you will catch over and over, at any hour, all year. It is the classic letdown when hunting rare fish, but it still pays 400 Bells.
